Our Story
elm-serval started in 2019 when two former restaurant chefs grew frustrated with the environmental impact of traditional food delivery services. Single-use plastics, idling diesel vans, and meals that arrived cold felt like problems worth solving.
We pooled our savings, bought three electric scooters, and started delivering home-cooked lunches to offices in East London. Word spread quickly. Within eighteen months, our fleet grew to forty scooters and our kitchen expanded into a purpose-built facility near the Thames.

Ingredient Integrity
Every supplier we work with meets our standards for traceability and ethical sourcing. If we cannot verify where an ingredient comes from, we do not use it.
Zero-Emission Logistics
Our entire delivery fleet runs on electric power. We charge our scooters using renewable energy and offset any remaining emissions through certified programmes.
Community Focus
We hire locally, partner with neighbourhood farms, and donate surplus meals to shelters each evening. Food should nourish communities, not just individuals.
Transparent Nutrition
Every meal comes with a detailed breakdown of calories, macronutrients, and allergens. We believe informed choices lead to healthier habits.
Our Team
Today, elm-serval employs over seventy people across our kitchen, logistics, and customer experience teams. Our chefs bring backgrounds from Michelin-starred restaurants, NHS nutrition programmes, and international culinary schools.
Meanwhile, our couriers receive ongoing training in safe urban riding, customer service, and food handling. They are the face of our brand, and we invest in making sure they represent our values every single day.
